winding down ...

We drove to the mountains today and had a wonderful time . The temp hit 75 and it was so beautiful and warm . We had an appointment at 6pm with our accountant but she is sick and her assistant is on vacation and won't be back until next wednesday so we will wait until then to do taxes . Neither of us are in a huge hurry on the taxes because this year I am sure that we will be paying the IRS instead of the other way around . Oh well , that is life so we will deal with it when it comes . After we got home this evening I was all jittery and couldn't sit still so I went through all of my files , got out old papers that aren't needed anymore and I re-organized and re-filed everything . It took along time but I got it done and now I don't have to worry about it and I don't have to deal with digging through last years paper work looking for something and besides all of those awesome benefits , that was part of my saturday schedule so that time is now free and clear for me to do whatever I want (can you tell that is an oddity around here) , I am thinking major nap in bed while watching Lifetime Movie Network ! hehe..

I finally picked up my 2006 daily planner today , I can't seem to function properly unless I have my planner beside me at all times but so far this year I have been carrying a spiral notebook with all my appointments and things in it . Now I can really get that stuff organized . I should have been in bed three hours ago but I did the file cabinet thing and now I am just winding down and since my husband is watching tv and has turned his "block-the-wife-out" sense on ,this was the only other choice I had .
