Happy Mother's Day!

This year we have celebrated Mother's Day a bit different. The men in our church came up with the idea to have a cook-out for the ladies of the church. Not only were they going to grill/cook the food, they wanted to serve us as well. They did such a wonderful job grilling, cooking and serving! There was some delicious food there that the men had actually cooked themselves at home. One of my favorites were the baked cheesy potato wedges, Mmmmmm.. it was good and very thoughtful. The women now have a great idea for Father's Day that any Dad would enjoy but I can't tell yet what that is because maybe one of those dads would stumble across my blog and know the secret..shhh!

When I was asked what I wanted for Mother's Day I said that I just wanted to be with my husband and kids. That's it..plain and simple, I don't need anything but time with my family. Mr. B doesn't like the "nothing" answer so he took me to my favorite Mexican restaurant for lunch Friday (which just happens to be located in our mall). After lunch he wanted to walk around a bit and you won't believe where we ended up??? My favorite store of all times...Bath & Body Works and oh my my they were having a killer sale! I had not been in there in a while and I didn't know that they now have their own line of scents for the home that you plug in to a wall, they are called "Wall Flowers" and you can buy them in just about any scent you want. My favorite scent is Sweet Pea so I got one for my bedroom because I love the light smell of it plus Mr. B says he loves the way I smell. I plugged the scent in and within thirty minutes over half of my house smells like Sweet Pea! It smells so good! This is what they look like...

Another favorite of mine is their line of anti-bacterial hand soap which you can buy 4 for $10 right now...yeah I went a bit crazy on this one but my hands will be smelling very good for a long time!

Tomorrow morning my Sunday School class is making a little something special for their mothers. When I say Sunday School class I don't mean one that I am attending but one I am teaching. As of last Sunday I am the teacher of the teens Sunday School class and I am really ready for the challenge, I think it will be a learning experience for not just the kids but me as well.

Well I hope it has been a good weekend for all of you and ladies ....

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

Long time blah blah...

It has certainly been a while since I've been here. Sometimes I think about deleting this blog and being done but I also think I am goin...
