trying to hit the relax point of the day ....

Wow , what a day it has been . I am doing this post because I am physically and mentally worn out tonight and I just need a place to lay my day down , plus I am needing something to keep me awake for at least another couple hours so that I can go get my daughter from a friends.

Today has consisted of nothing but being on my feet and I am suffering for it . I recently took on a couple more jobs at church , I am now in charge of the decorating of the church all year and I will be planning and booking the activities from now on . I know some of you are probably thinking "why did you do this when you are so busy anyway Breazy?" but the truth is that I didn't feel like I was doing my complete part at church so I asked my Pastor if there was anything else I could take on because I believe that it isn't going to hurt me to give God more of my time even if I have to drop a couple of things or scrunch my schedule up to do it , I mean He did give me life and salvation so my time is a measly little nothing compared to that .Anyways, aside from the two new things I also , and have been for over two years, been in charge of ordering flowers for funerals, sickness and so on , I have to keep the fellowship hall stocked and make sure that we have enough food for each dinner that we have and I also handle the Christmas basket which is just a fund that collects money all year long then in December I write that money out to our treasurer to pay for what we call "Christmas Baskets" which are baskets of food that we give to those in the community who need it . The flower, food and Christmas basket funds are really not hard to do at all so taking on two other jobs was no big thing .

Okay , now on to my day ! For three hours I decorated the church , then I worked on my feet on our land with Mr. Breazy for over five hours in 40 to 50 degree weather with the wind blowing cold all over me . After coming home and getting a shower I had a banjo lesson , grocery shopping , and I had to pick up a few more drinks for the fellowship hall since we are having our Christmas dinner tomorrow , I had to drop the drinks off at the fellowship hall . Around 11:30 my eldest daughter will be home from a friends and I have to take her boyfriend home then I get to come home and throw a 22lb turkey in the oven for our dinner at church tomorrow then I get to go to bed . If my calculations are correct , I will be half dead by then . LOL ! This past week has been over full with things and it has been real hard but I am still going . The reason my feet feel like someone put a couple of tons of barbells on them is because almost everything I have had to do this week included being on my feet for long hours at a time .I am used to being on my feet but not hour after hour, day after day so yeah , I am suffering for it . I am not fussing either I just need to get this all out of my mind so that I have a chance for more than two hours sleep tonight instead of being awake going over the days activities. Do any of you all do that ? You have real hard busy week and each day you think that you will sleep like a baby then you go home , go to bed and boom , you can't sleep because the days events keep rolling through your mind .

Okay , now that I have put my day down I think I will get off here and find something else to keep me awake because I can't sit and type all night and you all don't want to sit and read for an hour . Y'all have a good night , stay warm and be safe !!!

Love ya!

I so know what ya mean by the busy thing. I have been writing notes for notes so I won't forget things and STILL forget, which makes double the chores *LOL*. I hope ya get to rest a bit in between:-).

I'm tired just reading about your day! I to know what you mean how you are dead tired and you think you're going to get a good night sleep and then everything just goes into full speed ahead in the head...UGH!!! Kick back, take a nice hot bath and enjoy a glass of wine. That usually does it for me. Good for you for what you are doing though!

It's wonderful to contribute, but do take care of your health okay? It's not that long ago you were telling us scary stories about falling over etc, so be cautious.

Long time blah blah...

It has certainly been a while since I've been here. Sometimes I think about deleting this blog and being done but I also think I am goin...
