Christmas meme and wishes

Well here we are three days till Christmas . This year sure has flown by . I saw this meme on James' blog the other day and I loved it so I am stealing it for my own .

Holiday Meme

1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate ? egg nog

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree ? ripping the paper off is the fun part so he always wraps ours

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white ? nothing but colored , I don't like the clear

4. Do you hand mistletoe? yes we do

5. When do you put up your decorations ? I try to get them up on Thanksgiving night or the day after

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? cheeseball that is made with cream cheese

7. Favorite holiday memory as a child ? the year that I was 9 we stayed at my moms parents house because her dad was sick and that year I had ask for nothing but a pink metallic bicycle with a banana seat .After opening all of my presents my dad told me to go into the kitchen to get him something and when I got in the kitchen there sat my bicycle .

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa ? of course this question would come up , I am going on to the next one

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve ? only at my in-laws house , there are no gifts in my house opened until Christmas morning

10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree ? with lots of ornaments the kids have made through the years , a few balls and some small wrapped boxes

11. Snow ! Love it or dread it ? LOVE IT !!!!

12. Can you ice skate ? never tried

13. Do you remember your favorite gift for Christmas ? I love them all

14. What is the most important thing about the holidays to you ? being with family and friends and helping others out

15. What is your favorite holiday dessert ? homemade pumpkin or pecan pie

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition ? after we open gifts at my mom and dads house on Christmas morning we always make a huge breakfast and I love the time with my family

17. What tops your tree ? a star with lights , colored

18. Which do you prefer , giving or receiving ? giving

19. What is your favorite Christmas song ? Children Go Where I Send Thee , Ricky Scaggs version is my favorite

20. Do you like candy canes ? of course I do

This is the last post that I will do before Christmas so I do have a few things to say to y'all. First of all I want you to know that each and every one of you will be in my heart this holiday . I am so blessed to call all of you friend and I thank you for all your comments , encouragement, laughs and everything else you leave with me .
