one of them days.....

Hey all ! Sorry I haven't posted in day or so but I have been busy and on top of that I have been sick . The weather here in East Tennessee is killing me ! Last weekend we barely saw 30 as high and almost all week we have been in the mid to upper 60's and let me tell you , it doesn't feel like Christmas around here with all this warm weather stuff. No wonder everybody is getting sick !

First things first , Tuesday night was my lucky night . I signed on to Yahoo Messenger (I rarely get time to do this anymore) and saw a friend ,that I hadn't talked to in months, was on so I IMed him and we chatted a bit then I looked up and down my friends list and believe it or not another friend I haven't talked to in months was on so I IMed him to chat. While chatting with this friend about photoshopping (something I have been wanting to get into) Susie IMed me . While chatting up a storm with two great people I thought to check my email and I had an email in there from another friend that I was talking to every single night until he had some things happen about a month ago so he hasn't been on . The email was to let me know he was okay because I had emailed him several times in the last month with no response so I emailed Monday night and threatened to drive down and find him to see for myself if he was alright (I would have done this too and I would do it with any of you if need be). I went to bed Tuesday night feeling like a happy child after Christmas morning!

I have been receiving Christmas cards from all over the USA. Thank you all for the cards !

My husband took today off work since he just finished up a huge job so he and I went out for lunch to one of my favorite Italian restaurants . We had a wonderful lunch then as we were leaving , we were backing out of our parking space when we heard brakes squeal and then metal crunch as it met . As I looked out my window I almost jumped out of my skin . OH MY GOODNESS!!!! The first thing I saw was a motorcycle underneath the front end of a Toyota Tundra then I looked over and saw the rider of the motorcycle in the grass. Before Mr. Breazy could stop the van I had unlocked the door, grabbed my cell , jumped out of the van and dialed 911 to report the accident all the while I am running for the injured motorcyclist. Another lady and myself got there about the same time so I went for his head to support it and she held his hand . He was very alert and in pain . His right ankle and bottom part of his right leg were hurting from the impact plus his left shoulder and side was hurting from where he hit the ground . I thank God that he hit grass instead of pavement because his injuries could have been a lot worse . This is the second motorcycle wreck I have been present in the last three months and I told my husband we were going to have to quit making a habit of being around when these things occur because the next time we see one they may be calling an ambulance for me because my heart is going to stop! When the fire department got there it just so happened that one of the firemen is a gentleman I go to church with . He took over the supporting of the head from me .

Our church play is this coming Sunday and once again I am playing Mary and I have to sing "What Child Is This" again . However , this is a different play altogether than last years but for some reason I ended up with the same song and I am hoping that I can do it because I woke up Wednesday morning feeling achy and just not good with a bit of a sore throat then yesterday morning I woke up with a very sore throat and my tonsils were swollen . So far I haven't had a fever and I hope I don't get one . I am also hoping that I will be better by Sunday .

Y'all have a great weekend and be safe !

You're an angel! Hey for the "aches and pains" go to the store and buy some airborne...IT WORKS GREAT!!!!!! Gargle with warm salt water 3 - 4 times a day, tylenol for the achiness and throat lozenges. Just listen to the nurse.
Love ya and have fun at your play!
