TIME...what's it mean to you?

Good morning ! I hope everyone had a great weekend.

What does time mean to you? I have been asking myself this exact question for over a week now and I am curious as to what time means to other folks as well.

All of you know that for the past five months we have been dealing with having a new home built. We have been living in our new home now for 19 days and believe it or not, we have had no time to sit and enjoy it. I have had 2 nights out of 18 that we didn't have something to do. To me time is a very precious thing because I never seem to have enough of it anymore. There are at least two days a week that I could use an extra 12 to 24 hours so that I can get everything done that needs to be done that day and we all know that there will be no added hours to a day so I have to cram everything into the hours I've got. Please understand that this post is not a venting post, I just need to unload what is on my mind and I am in no way fussing about it, just stating my thoughts and feelings.

Last week our schedule went like this...
3 baseball games ( mon, wed, sat)
2 Girl Scout meetings (mon, tues)
2 Girl Scout outings (thurs, sat)
3 or 4 hardwood flooring jobs
cleaning the house in between errands (everyday)
2 evenings at church ( sun, wed)
moving some furniture for my sister (thurs)
many day to day errands which is the norm around here (everyday)
helped Mr. B's Mom with a garage sale to get rid of his brothers belongings(sat)
after garage sale we loaded all the stuff left into a huge U-Haul truck and drove it to Maryville (Mr. B's brother lived about 45 minutes to an hour away depending on traffic, Maryville is the town we live in , Mr. B's mom lives four doors down from us) we didn't finish this task until about 12:30 AM Saturday night which actually makes it 12:30 AM Sunday morning.
After church yesterday we had to go back up to his brothers ex-home and finish loading the big stuff to bring to Maryville. We finished with that about 5 PM and had to go back to church at 6 PM so there was no rest time in between.

To clarify things about Mr. B's brother.... they moved out West about a month ago and left what they didn't want for Mr. B's mom to take care of so we had to help her because she couldn't do it all herself.

My schedule this week looks worse than last week but next weekend will turn out different than this one did. Next Saturday my girl scout child is going to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY. I have to have her at the designated spot to catch the bus at 5 AM that morning and pick her up there that night between 11PM-12AM. Then Sunday rolls around and that day the only thing I plan on doing is going to church and that is it because I will be 32 on Sunday! Most people do not acknowledge their birthday but I do because it is a day for me to celebrate life and to thank God for another year of life and just to ask Him that the next year be just as good.

This week our schedules are a bit more full than last week but we do have one evening that we have absolutely nothing to do and that will be Friday. Next Tuesday May 1st, Mr. B and I will celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary as well.
Things are busy right now but they will calm down before long. The kids only have one month left in school before summer break. Baseball will be over in mid June, Girl Scouts will be over at the end of May except for the trip to Niagra Falls, Canada and a four day camping trip in the Smoky Mountains later in June. I know that it will calm down in a few weeks but that doesn't help being tired. Oh yeah and on top of everything else, yesterday after church we came home to change clothes so we could go help Mr. B's mom. When we got back in my mini-van we turned the air conditioning on and would you believe that something is wrong with my air, it blew only hot air so I have to have that checked out this week. I started laughing and I told Mr. B that when it rains it poors. This is the point where I keep repeating to myself that the glass is half full and it could be worse and that I need to shake it off, smile and take things as they come, so far I have done this fairly well. The air thing made me laugh because last week we had small glitch with our brand new ice maker on our new refrigerator and that really had me upset but when came down to it Mr. B found the problem and fixed it himself, it took him about two seconds to correct the problem.

The one good thing is that the cable company is coming to connect my internet tomorrow..WOOHOO!!! I have waited two and a half months for a decent connection and I am finally going to get one! I will be posting so many pics that it will spin your heads friends..LOL!

Anyways, I have to go now because my dryer and washer both are buzzing to let me know that their loads are complete. Y'all have a beautiful day, be safe and take care!
