cleaning day ..

Today I will be home cleaning most of the day . This is the only chance that I will have before I leave and there is no way that I am leaving without doing some extra cleaning here . The rest of my week is full of doctors appointments , hair appointments , shopping , packing and anything else I need to do before I go .

I have been keeping up with the weather channel alot to watch for more hurricanes . There is tropical depression Emily , who was named yesterday around noon , headed in the direction of Puerto Rico and another disturbance behind Emily that they are keeping an eye on. This is the first time that we have taken a two week vacation and I am hoping with all hope that it is uneventful in the hurricane department . However , it would not be the first time we have had to evacuate if there happens to be one headed that way . Five or six years ago we were on vacation when hurricane Dennis came through and that storm was about 100 miles out from us . We had to leave our condo that night because before high tide our pool was already ocean . After the tide went down we were able to go back to our condo and carry on . That was on Sunday and at 4:00 Monday morning , hurricane Dennis swept by and I couldn't believe some of the damage that was done from this hurricane that was 100 miles
out. We were woke up by our balcony furniture banging around and finally flying off the balcony . Scary business that . Hurricane Dennis ended up coming ashore on the outer banks of NC and it ripped that place apart .

Anyways that is enough gabbing for now , I have to get busy . Talk to you later ...
