I tried to get around to most of you yesterday since I haven't been on that much this week. I have had my hands full with my son being sick and also with a project I am working on for my daughters high school choral department.
In my last post Sunday, I briefly mentioned that my son Ty was sick and that it was sinus and allergy problems, well two doctor visits and they still don't know what is wrong with him. Saturday he got out of bed and was fine from what we could see, he did seem somewhat more mellow than usual but we thought maybe he just slept hard. By Saturday night we knew something wasn't right because as the day had progressed he had started acting more and more mellow. By 9 that night he had a fever then he woke up around 2:30 AM vomiting. He hasn't quit vomiting yet! Every time food hits his stomach it is right back up again within an a couple of hours. He has been eating exactly what the doctor said to give him..chicken soup, popcicles, saltine crackers and nothing is staying down. Wednesday he showed a lot of improvement so it was okay to send him to school today. At 11:15AM the school nurse called to tell me that Ty had eaten lunch then got sick two times so I needed to come and get him. The fever is gone, he feels fine but his stomach rejects any type of food and sometimes drink that hits it so I am thinking that maybe it is time for some blood tests and I do believe we will be persuading the doctor in that direction. I would ask that you say a prayer for him to get better.
As for the project I am working on for the Choral Department at the high school...they are getting ready to do a production of "The Sound of Music" and I am creating the programs that are handed out to everyone so that they can read about the scenes, the cast, cast bio's and so on. I don't have all of the info that I need but I have got a good start on everything I have. Out of 25 main cast members, I have only received bio's on three of those, however, last Friday I went down and finished shooting their pics that will go beside their bio's so that is done. I have also been playing around with different templates and modifying them to my satisfaction. Once I get all the info and can put at least two complete programs with different styles together I am going to take it to the Choir Director so that she can choose the one she wants to go with. I didn't realize everything that goes into this program deal but I sure have worked hard on it.
Well, I am off to get my day started. Y'all have a great day, be safe and God Bless!

poor kid, that's awful not to be able to keep food down and for such a long time. has anyone suggested emetrol? it's an anti nausea thing that looks like cough syrup. you can get it over the counter. might be worth a try.
Lime...no one has suggested it until you. I will have to head out the pharmacy to look for it. He is out of school today also and the doctors office is so full that they can't see him until tomorrow morning. I am glad that his doctors office is open on Saturday mornings. Thanks!
Good luck with the project, and I really hope your son feels so much better soon.
Sounds like you have a the project under control. Sorry to hear about your son. Thats got to be draining on him. He (and you) are in my prayers.
