Add the next number (1. 2. 3. 4. 5., etc.) and write your own blogging tip for other bloggers. Try to make your tip general.

Most of you know that I work at home. My husband owns a hardwood flooring business that he started almost eight years ago and I take care of all the billing, taxes, surfing the net for new products or special offers and most of the errands while he deals with the labor, prices, people and so on. It doesn't sound like much but it keeps me busy throughout most days however, in the past few months I have sorta longed to seek work outside of our home. Something that would be beneficial insurance wise and still give me time with my children. If you are or you know anyone that is self-employed then you know that the insurance is outrageous on top of everything else that you pay. I am not being forced to work, actually Mr. B doesn't care for the idea that much but he can see the plus side of the idea too. I have really thought a lot about this and I have kept my eye open in the papers for part-time work in a hospital. I have even prayed about this. God works in mysterious ways!
Yesterday we had some errands to run, my cell phone was almost dead so I plugged it in to charge here at home and forgot about it when we left. When we arrived back home I had a voice mail (from a friend) regarding an open part-time position at one of the hospitals in Knoxville. The job is working with patients, greeting them and putting them in the system, making sure all info is correct and so on. I would ask that those of you who pray would remember this and pray about it for me.
This is actually a big step for me because I haven't worked outside of our home in almost six years. Six years ago I was working in a local private college when I realized that it wasn't worth it. I was working more hours a week than I was home, most of my money went to day-care for the kids, and I basically didn't have a life that existed outside of that job so I turned in my two week notice and I never looked back. I am not afraid of working outside our home but it is something I will have to get use to because here I am on my own time, if the boss makes me mad I can blister his ears if I feel so inclined to do so..heehee..this has happened a time or two..one day I will tell y'all the story about the day I told my husband to stuff this job.
Okay, I need to go. Y'all have a wonderful weekend, be safe and take care!

I agree with Lime (uhoh worlds might collide lol) let us hear THAT story. Good luck in the job market and btw..........I finally fulfilled your tagging from weeks ago lol
Ameratis...Thank you!
Jodes...yeah the kids have been starting school in early August for almost ten years now, I don't like it at all because it takes the summer away faster but they do get several breaks during the year that make up for it.
Lime...I will certainly post that story on Monday so y'all can hear it.
Brad...Cool , I will go check it out!
Breazy, good luck on the job. I, too, would want to work part-time. Right now I still have the next two semesters to wrap up my coding certificate. After that, I may try to get coding credentials to make myself more marketable. Eventually, I hope to work at home for a hospital or clinic, doing the medical coding. No worries about transportation and dress code. :)
Sounds like that job is like a registration clerk. They greet patients, verify demographics and insurance info., and give them an encounter form to give to the receptionists in the doctor's lobby. Again, good luck.
Breazzzzyyyyy
HI girl!
That sounds like a wonderful job, what could be better than helping people?
Cannot wait to hear about new job and your husbands job story too!
I can't WAIT for that story.
Sounds like that would be a fun job, and right up your alley.
Self employment and insurance stuff is such a pain in the ass.
