Happy Spring! I am so glad to see this day arrive and I hope that the weather stays nice from now on because I am over winter.
My family and I didn't get to go on our little trip, several factors were the cause of this, and I can't say that I am upset that we didn't go because had we gone I would have been right back home within hours.
First off let me start by saying that Chesney got her license Tuesday morning...YAY for her and more worry for me! She is very excited to be a licensed driver but she isn't to happy with the limitations we have put on her. Basically I think she thought getting her license would mean she could jump in the car and go when ever she wanted but she found out real quick that it wasn't to be, I don't know why she didn't acknowledge it before because we had told her that she would have rules.
Later Tuesday evening I called my friend (the one I have asked you all to pray for because her husband was in ICU on life support) to see how things were going and she told me that he had passed away. I can't tell you how my heart hurts for her. She is 32 years old, her husband was 37, T-H-I-R-T-Y S-E-V-E-N!!!!!! That is way too young to die! Even though he has passed I still can't tell the details explaining how he was put in the hospital in the first place, lets just say that their lawyer is involved and leave it at that. When I made the phone call that evening I was calling to check on her and to tell her that we was not going anywhere so I would be home if she needed me. I have been friends with her since I was in third grade, since then we have been almost joined at the hip except for a couple of years that we lost touch when she moved to another county. I wish there were something I could do to take her pain away or at least help ease it but I know that isn't possible, the only thing I can do is be there to pray with/for her, give her a shoulder to cry on, an ear when she needs to talk, and help take care of her three beautiful daughters. Thank you for your prayers.
With that I think I am going to finish up and get around to some of my favorite blogs. Y'all have a great day, be safe, and God Bless!
