I'm alive and well, just busy

I have been so busy I have been too tired to get online in the past week. This is a busy month at church for us so I have been in church 6 out of the past 7 nights. We also have a new addition to our family, Mr. B's younger brother and his wife welcomed their new baby girl, Waylynn, into the world Monday so I was at the hospital Monday and again yesterday to visit. Yesterday the kids were out of school for teacher development day or something like that so I took them to meet their new cousin, I didn't think my 10 yr old son, Ty, was going to let go of her he really liked her. Girl Scout cookie booths have also started for us, they started Friday evening but we will be done with those early this year because the last one that Bethany participate in will be on the 11th because Spring Break is almost upon us, the 17th thru the 21st, so we are leaving either late on the 13th, which is Mr. B's birthday, or early morning on the 14th for a much needed family getaway.

The weather here the past couple of days has been beautiful until yesterday. We hit 72 Monday and it was gorgeous then yesterday it was around 68 but severe storms moved through the area and cooled us down big time. During the bad storms we had high winds, a woman that I somewhat knew was killed when a tree fell over on her mobile home. She had professional tree cutters scheduled to come this week to cut down the trees around the home because just a few months ago a small one fell and hit the back of her mobile home. However, yesterday she had just laid down to rest before going into work when a huge pine tree crashed through the roof onto the bed where she lay. When I heard that she had the tree cutters scheduled all I could think of was that song "Ironic" by Alanis Morissette.

Since having the warmer temps lately I am now ready for Spring more so than before. I have to say that March is the one month that I have a hard time with simply because we have a few warm days then a few really cold ones then it changes again. We are expecting snow flurries by the weekend, now isn't that crazy? I also can't believe that time is changing three weeks early again this year, if I think I am having problems sleeping now then all I need to do is just wait until the weekend when time changes and we lose an hour.

Well y'all I think I will sign off for now and get my day started. Y'all have a great day, be safe, and God Bless!
