I am so ready to go to the beach and it is almost time (18 & 1/2 days to be exact but who's counting down?) but it seems like the closer our departure time gets the busier we get and that is kind of a good thing because it does make time go by faster but I would like to be able to relax somewhat before we go on vacation.
This week Mr. B is helping preach at a revival for a neighboring church. This is the first revival he has got to be a part of as far as the preaching goes so he was really nervous yesterday morning since he was the one scheduled to get it started, he did a very good job and brought a message titled "Rise Up and Walk" out of John 5:1-9. Basically to break it down quickly and in short he was saying that we (Christians) need to lay our burdens on God and keep pressing onward because we can't stop at every bump in the road to complain or we will get nothing accomplished in our lives. There is so much more meaning to it but that is, like I said, quick and short to give you an idea.
I think I have made it around to all of your blogs today and commented. I have been trying to keep up with my blog reading/commenting however here lately it can be a feat just to get online with everything on our schedules.
I apologize for the shortness of this post but I have to go now and finish up with all of my "to do's" around here. I hope all of you are having a wonderful day!

Sounds like the hubs gave a wonderful sermon that we all need to remember. We all get so busy with the nonsense going on in our lives that sometimes we forget to stop and remember who is REALLY in charge.
That sounds like a good sermon to me. I always think about that..."take it to the Lord in prayer..." People don' like to hear people complain, but God is always there to listen. You must be so proud of your husband. :)
Sounds like a great sermon. I am sure the Lord was able to use him as an instrument to have His words spoken. Have fun at the beach, I must say I am a teeny bit envious! ;)
i am anxious for some beach time myself.
best wishes to mr. b.

G-Man...awwww, thank you, you are so sweet! Yes I will have my camera with me, the beach is the one place I almost always remember to take my camera except for the trip Shawn and I took for anniversary and I was in such a hurry for some alone time with him the camera slipped my mind.
James...lol..why don't you all just pack a bag and come along, they always say the more the merrier and we love having friends around.
Haha! You should find one of those count-down ticker things that you could put on here... Days left to beach and it would count down. ;)
I bet you're ready, heck I am ready, and I just returned from the beach.
B...I should get a counter...thanks for the idea! Yep I am always ready to go to the beach even if I have just returned from there, I can't help that it is in my blood!
Have a good one!
