Happy Valentine's Day!

Today is a day for lovers however, Mr. B and I never make a big deal about it. Instead we try to make it special for the kids because the way we see it we have 365 days a year to tell and show how much we love one another. We don't even go out to eat together at a nice restaurant because we hate fighting the crowd. Our normal Valentine routine is preparing a nice dinner for all of us at home sometimes we eat in candlelight and sometimes we don't. Mr. B and I rarely even buy a card for each other and never flowers because the flowers just wither and die, telling someone you love them and showing them the extent of your love does not wither so I prefer the show and tell.

With that being said, not everyone celebrates this special day like we do so tell me how you spend, whether you and your partner have a tradition or what.

This is totally different from any Valentine post I am sure you have ever read but yesterday I posted about some wall hangings and such throughout my house and I mentioned in one hanging in my bedroom that the flowers matched my bathroom walls. In the comment box Galen wanted to see my bathroom walls so here they are in all their pink glory.

This is just another view of the bathroom. The color didn't come out to well on this one but you can still see the pink walls and the shower curtain is the color of my bedroom walls which is Juniper Berry(a very light green).

No matter how you spend it, I wish each and everyone of you a very special Happy Valentine's Day!

Same to you, Breazy. I'm glad to read you and your husband have a practical take on V-Day. Refreshing.

Nice pink wall, BTW.

I'm with you. I don't want to fight the crowd and not be able to enjoy my dinner. To have to look at all the people waiting for our table and rushing. I'd rather go out to dinner the following week or when ever!

We buy each other a card and that's about it. I'm not a mushy gushy person and for me...VD is over rated...lol!!!

WOW...that is one pink bathroom!

` So much pink!! Arrrrrgh!

` My art teacher calls flowers 'genitals on a stick'. I agree. I still got flowers this year but at least I'm not eating them this time. It'll break my heart for me to have to throw them away. Maybe when I get a house I'll have a rose bush!

Long time blah blah...

It has certainly been a while since I've been here. Sometimes I think about deleting this blog and being done but I also think I am goin...
