something different ...

As I said this post is going to be different from my usual posts . This handsome young man is my son Ty . The pics that you see in this post were taken by a professional photographer on Tuesday night (the game I talked about in my previous post). I normally don't post pics of my children but I do have some good pics and I am so proud of my kids so I thought maybe I would post some pics of them in the next few days . I have five or six more pics on order from the photographer that he didn't have time to print out and I will post those once I receive them . Anyways, in this first pic my son is waiting on a hit from the batter . As you can see , he is in his game stance and ready to show his stuff ..hehe!

This pic was taken after my son hit a ball to the outfield and he was running to second base . If you look close you will see that the photographer shot this while both of my sons feet were in the air . I thought it was pretty cool . Also if you look in the upper left hand corner , you can see me in the scorebox . I have on a pink shirt , khaki shorts and white sneakers and I am on the edge of my seat getting ready to stand and cheer my boy on ! hehe!

This pic follows the one above. My son is sliding into second base and the kid in red squatted down is just now catching the ball . My son was safe , time was called on the play , then the kid in red pushes my son off base and the sucky ump calls my son out . That was the first time I have ever saw a play called after time has been called and them stand by it . It is a good thing there were no pics of that or you would have saw my pissed off face !



And just to bring you up on the latest baseball happenings , as I said in the last post , we were scheduled to play for third place on saturday . We did play for third place and we won it !WAY TO GO CUBS!!!!! I was so happy . We came in third out of fourteen teams . The red team that we played tuesday night , the Cardinals , they played right after us for first place against the Red Sox and lost . The final score was 18-5. After that game the Cardinals admitted that we should have been playing the Red Sox instead of them since we actually won the game against them tuesday night but was robbed of it by the umpires . I was pissed upon hearing that but it is all water under the bridge and our boys came out good in the end . The good thing about all of the controversy is that none of our boys even knew that there had been a big blow up and heated tempers tuesday night and I am so glad of that .

Tomorrow I will be posting pics of my oldest daughter . One of the pics are of her and her boyfriend at their recent prom I posted about . Y'all have a good night and be safe ! :)
